Prize distribution to winners of debate contest tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The prize distribution for the winners of the debate competition on the topic ‘Libraries are still relevant in the age of the internet’, which was organised on Nov. 28 to commemorate National Librarians’ Day – 2025 and 133rd Birth Anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, will be held tomorrow at 3 pm in Manasamedia Centre, Library Conference Hall, Mysore University Library in Manasagangothri campus.

University of Mysore Registrar M.K. Savitha will chair the event. Former University of Mysore Librarian Dr. C.P. Ramasesh and Assistant Professor, Department of Systems and General Management at SDM-IMD Dr. M.V. Sunil will be the guests of honour.

Mysore University Librarian Dr. P. Sarasvathy is the Programme Co-ordinator while Senior Professor, DOS in Library and Information Science at University of Mysore Prof. M. Chandrashekhara, Professor at DOS in Library and Information Science at University of Mysore Prof. H. Adithya Kumari and former Assistant Librarian at Mysore University Dr. Venkatesh will be present as invitees.

Assistant Librarian Jayashree Jagadish will propose the vote of thanks.
