H.M. Mohan Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, for his thesis ‘An Economic Analysis of Bio-Medical Waste Management: A Study of Hassan District in Karnataka’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. T.P. Shashikumar.
