Doctor files plaint after daughter’s obscene photos sent by e-mail

Mysore/Mysuru: A doctor, attached to a private hospital in city, has filed a complaint alleging that someone had sent obscene photo of his daughter via e-mail to him, his wife, daughter and son-in-law just to harass them.

 The doctor has lodged a complaint at city’s CEN Police Station in this regard.

In his complaint, Dr. Mahesh (name changed) has stated that on Dec. 21, 2025, at about 00.42 hours, someone sent obscene photos of his daughter via e-mail to him, his wife, daughter and son-in-law only to harass them and on Apr. 3, 2026, the same person through the same e-mail ID sent the same photos to the administrator of a private University, staff and his friends.

When the doctor enquired about it with his daughter, she is said to told him that she had sent her photos to one Sujan Urs to his e-mail ID.

Dr. Mahesh’s daughter is residing in Uttar Pradesh and is unable to travel due to medical issues and hence he has lodged a complaint at the CEN Police Station seeking legal action against the person, who has e-mailed the obscene photos.
