During the episode (via Entertainment Weekly), Kim went to get brain scans with the Kardashian Cinematic Universe's own Scott Disick — and initially, Dr. Daniel Amen had good news for her, saying that she had a "beautiful" brain and was at a low risk for Alzheimer's disease. He also noted that the scan suggested she was "not terribly stressed, not anxious and not depressed," and that she's "extraordinary at being positive."

Then, Kim noticed "holes" in her brain scan, which she asked the doctor about. He replied that the holes indicated "low activity" in her brain.

"The front part of your brain is less active than it should be," he said. "With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress and that's not good for you, especially as you're studying and you're getting ready to take the boards."

"That just can't be," Kim replied, indicating that she was "not accepting" the conclusion the doctor, who had also said the results were likely due to "chronic stress," had drawn.

Elsewhere during the episode, Kim also revealed that a separate scan revealed that she'd had a brain aneurysm some years ago. "I did a Prenuvo scan, and they called me today, and they're like, 'Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain,'" she said. "They're like, 'It's been there for like years. It was here a few years ago.'"

After mentioning that the doctor who conducted that scan said the aneurysm could've been caused by "stress," she added, "People think I have the luxury of walking away."
