Jake also stated that surgery went smoothly, but he is in "lots of pain and stiffness" and will be restricted to eating only liquids for seven days. He wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"Just got out of surgery. Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days."

Jake kept his fans updated on his health condition. He recently posted a picture on Instagram showing him resting in a bed at the University of Miami Hospital. The former YouTuber shared that two titanium plates were inserted on each side of his jaw surgically, and some of his teeth were removed. The general recovery time for a broken jaw is estimated to be around four to six weeks, though Jake Paul is expected to face a longer medical suspension from boxing (likely 60-90 days). Thanking his fans for their love and support, he wrote:

"Surgery went well thanks for all the love and support. 2 titanium plates on each side. Some teeth removed. Have to have only liquids for 7 days so no @doghausdogs."

Recently, Logan Paul shared a photo from Jake's hospital bedside on social media with a supportive message for his brother, which could be read as:

"Proud brother of an absolute warrior. Broke his jaw but can't break his spirit."

Anthony Joshua, a two-time former unified heavyweight champion, was a fan favorite to win the fight against Jake Paul.
