Britney Spears has been charged with a DUI in Ventura County, California, the New York Times reports. This charge comes from her arrest on March 4, when she was pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was charged with a misdemeanor for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, with no specifics on the type of drugs. “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long-overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life,” her rep told E! News at the time of her arrest.
