Cars crushed, man dies, firefighters intervene: First photos from site of horrific accident near Belgrade
· Telegraf.rsA serious traffic accident took place today at around 10:55 on the Ibar highway near Barajevo, in suburban Belgrade. Telegraf.rs has learned that this led to a pile-up and the death of one person.

The first photos from the scene were published by Mladen Mijatovic, and look horrific. The hood of one of the cars is almost completely crushed against the guardrail, while the other vehicles involved in the accident can be seen in a column that formed behind.
The Interior Ministry (MUP) said that after receiving the report, firefighter-rescue team with one vehicle and two firefighters-rescuers was sent to the scene, where it was established that there was a man in one of the vehicles who was not showing signs of life. They pulled the body out of the vehicle.
The accident happened when, for reasons still unknown, three cars collided.
Emergency crews treated two injured persons and transported them to the nearest healthcare facility, where they were diagnosed with minor injuries.
The investigation, which should establish all the details regarding this accident, is ongoing.
