Linda Lusardi found over 13 lumps in her breasts as Page 3 icon reveals horror health ordeal

After she was left at death's door in intensive care having battled Covid at the start of the pandemic, former model Linda Lusardi has now detailed another worrying health scare

Linda Lusardi has spoken frankly about her terrifying health ordeal.

The Page 3 legend says she has found a lump on her breast every year for the past decade. She has detailed how so far they have turned out to be harmless benign cysts, but urged women to get checked out as she spoke ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It's not the only time she was left fearing for her life. Linda believed she would die from coronavirus after being rushed to hospital, with 0% oxygen levels in her blood back in 2020. The former model was critical and left fighting for her life in intensive care, while her husband Sam Kane faced a similar experience.

After finding the lumps, the 66-year-old explained more and said: “It is frightening. "The first few I found left me terrified. I have had about 13 since then. "With the first one, I thought, ‘What the hell is it — is it cancer? "Am I going to die?’. I have had cysts for about 12 years.

"I think there has only been three years during that time when I haven’t needed hospital treatment. But I’ve always had them checked and they have all just been made of fluid - the doctors get rid of them by puncturing them with a needle," she told The Sun on Sunday.

Linda opened up about her battle with Covid after being diagnosed pretty early on in the pandemic, when she was told by doctors that there was no guarantee she would survive as they didn't know what they were dealing with. In one heartbreaking moment, Linda broke down as she recalled the moment Sam begged her to stay alive for their children as she feared she would succumb to the illness.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Linda explained how events quickly spiralled leading to her desperate fight for life. She tearfully told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid three years ago: "It was absolutely horrendous and I thank God that I’m one of the lucky ones who came through it."

Breaking down, she went on: "Sam and I were both in A&E and at one minute we were both looking at each other thinking, 'are we gonna make it through this?'. On the second night Sam was taken downstairs as he'd tested positive, I tested negative at first."

"I said [to the doctor], 'am I gonna get through this?' and he said, 'I can’t promise you anything... we don’t know what we're dealing with'," she went on, adding how her age left her at risk. She continued: "I rang Sam and I said, 'you better come up because I dunno if I’m gonna make it'… sorry." Linda was then reunited with Sam for what she feared might be a goodbye, concerned she was going to die.
