Yoo Hae Jin donates 100 million KRW(~67,000 USD) for cancer patient treatment

Yoo Hae Jin has donated 100 million KRW(~67,000 USD) to support cancer patient treatment.

According to Asan Medical Center on May 13 KST, Yoo recently delivered the donation with the hope that it would be used to help patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Yoo shared, “I decided to donate because I hope patients can overcome the difficult treatment process and return to their ordinary daily lives.”

He added, “I sincerely hope many cancer patients can receive treatment in a safer and more comfortable environment.”

This is not the first time Yoo has supported the hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, he donated 50 million KRW to Asan Medical Center and contributed another 50 million KRW in 2023.

With this latest contribution, Yoo’s cumulative donations to the hospital have now reached a total of 200 million KRW.

The hospital stated that the funds will be used to build advanced treatment systems for cancer patients and improve treatment environments.

Meanwhile, Yoo Hae Jin recently won the Grand Prize in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for his performance in 'The King's Warden'
