2 adults, 2 children seriously hurt in H-1 crash in Kapolei
by Star-Advertiser Staff · Star-AdvertiserFour people, including two children, were seriously injured this morning in a multiple-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of H-1 freeway in Kapolei.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the crash with four ambulances at about 6:15 a.m.
Paramedics treated four patients — a 33-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, a 15-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy — and took them to a hospital in serious condition, EMS officials said.
Honolulu police closed all H-1 eastbound lanes at the Wakea off-ramp and rerouted traffic onto the off-ramp as emergency crews responded.
