Water main repairs to close lanes on Ward Avenue by Blaisdell

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply will begin repairs to a leak in an 8-inch water service line near the Blaisdell Concert Hall starting at 7 p.m. today.

The work will require lane closures along Ward Avenue near the driveway to the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

“Please avoid the area and expect delays,” said BWS in an alert this afternoon.

BWS said a portion of the Blaisdell Center will also be affected during repairs.
