Unresponsive man rescued at Sherwood’s Beach

Honolulu Ocean Safety lifeguards responded to an unresponsive adult male at Sherwood’s Beach in Waimanalo at approximately 1:24 p.m. today.

Bystanders pulled the man from the ocean and began CPR before lifeguards arrived and took over care. The patient was later transferred to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services for further treatment.
