SJU trophy kicks off

Dimapur, October 7: The 3rd edition of the St. Joseph University Trophy officially commenced on October 7, marking the start of a 3-day event hosted on the university campus. 24 teams from various colleges and universities across the State have registered for participation.

The inaugural ceremony featured a performance by the Department of Physical Education students. The event concluded with the rendition of the University anthem by the SJU choir, after which the ceremonial lighting of the torch took place, marking the official launch of the SJU Trophy, with Lanumongla Jamir, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education, leading the oath-taking ceremony alongside the team captains of the participating institutions.
