HOST Philippines completed a sweep of its assignments in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Tri-Nation Friendlies with a 5-1 spanking of Myanmar on Tuesday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Brothers Jeff and Paul Tabinas set the tone with their goals in the 45th and 54th minutes before sub Sebastian Rasmussen fired a brace (80th and 90th) and Andre Leipold (89th) joined the fray to seal it.

Myanmar avoided a shutout through Win Naing Tun’s 82nd minute strike.

The victory, witnessed by 4,662 fans, mirrored the Pinoy booters’ similar 5-1 demolition of Guam six nights before.

The dominant performance in the event backed by McDonald’s augurs well for the Filipinos as they gear up for the coming Asean Hyundai Cup, where they will meet the Burmese anew.

McDonald’s has partnered with the PFF in celebrating and supporting the football community, aligning with its role as an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
