Rolex and Phillips have made watchmaking history after selling four piece-unique Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona models for a record-breaking total of $49,467,260 USD (£37,300,000 GBP). Auctioned in London by Aurel Bacs, the historic single-consignment charity sale marks the highest amount ever raised for a watch charity event.

Titled the “Four Seasons” collection, each timepiece reimagines the iconic chronograph through a distinct seasonal lens utilizing rare hard-stone dials, high-jewelry gem-setting, and precious metals. The “Winter” reference, cased in 950 platinum, fetched $13,262,000 USD (£10,000,000 GBP) with its blue opal dial, lapis lazuli sub-dials, and blue-to-fuchsia sapphire bezel. The 18 ct white gold “Spring” edition garnered $9,018,160 USD (£6,800,000 GBP), boasting a chrysoprase dial, lepidolite counters, and purple sapphires.

Leading the individual sales, the “Summer” model in 18 ct Everose gold commanded $13,659,860 USD (£10,300,000 GBP) via a turquoise dial, heart of ruby sub-dials, and pink sapphires. Completing the quartet, the 18 ct yellow gold “Autumn” edition brought in $13,527,240 USD (£10,200,000 GBP) featuring a mookaite dial paired with chrysoprase counters and green tourmalines. All four references are driven by Rolex’s in-house Calibre 4131 movement.

100% of the proceeds will be split between Roger Federer’s Federer Foundation to support early childhood education across Southern Africa and Switzerland, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Re:wild initiative dedicated to global ecosystem restoration.

The four unique Rolex Cosmograph Daytona timepieces were sold individually via Phillips in London on September 28, 2026.
