G-STAR reintroduces the RAW RESEARCH collection under the new creative direction of Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter. Conceived as an experimental atelier, this platform is where the brand collides creativity with engineering to push the boundaries of denim.

The all-gender, 24-piece capsule is built on a foundation of anatomical precision and engineered denim. At the core of the lineup is the iconic G-STAR Elwood, which serves as a 3D-constructed blueprint for new silhouettes, extending its design logic into skirts and trucker jackets. Standout items include the RR Vinny Jacket, a tribute to Botter’s late childhood friend, and the RR Reversible Bomber, which blends formal shirt structure with a washed-down Japanese cloud camo effect.

Material exploration takes center stage through the use of heritage greencast denim. This fabric provides a cool, industrial undertone that develops a unique, raw character over time, unlike traditional indigo. The collection also encompasses maritime-inspired outerwear, selvedge denim tailoring, and baggy Elwood evolutions, all showcased in an industrial campaign shot by Pieter Hugo.

The G-STAR RAW RESEARCH collection is available now via the G-STAR webstore and selected stores.
