As smartphone prices rise due to the global memory crisis, Nothing is gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone 4b targeting the price-conscious buyers. The London-based company officially confirmed the device and recently released a dedicated teaser video showcasing its design. Now, a fresh leak unveils major specs of the smartphone, which is scheduled to break cover on July 7.

It’s worth noting that the Nothing Phone 4b would sit below the Phone 4a series, hinted by Nothing’s co-founder, Akis Evangelidis, through an X post.

Nothing Phone 4b expected specs and features

Tipster Yogesh Brar took on the X and suggested the Nothing Phone 4b may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Though the brand teased the device only in blue colour, Brar's post indicates it may come in three colourways, including the blue one.

The Nothing Phone 4b could arrive in two memory configurations: 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, or 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Under the hood, the upcoming smartphone could carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset paired with a 5,400mAh battery. In terms of the camera, it is said to ship with a 50-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is said to come out of the box with Android 16.

Nothing Phone 4b design

The Nothing Phone 4b continues the company’s signature design approach with a see-through rear panel. Shown in a blue colour option, the handset reveals internal elements beneath the surface, including visible screws, textures, and industrial design accents. The phone is expected to feature a unibody construction similar to the Phone 4a Pro.

The rear panel houses a dual-camera setup arranged vertically, while the right side features a vertical Glyph Bar interface similar to the one seen on the Phone 4a. The LED-based interface is expected to offer visual cues for notifications, charging status, and app-specific alerts.

An LED flash and additional sensors sit alongside the camera module, while the flat frame blends smoothly into the curved rear edges, giving the phone a more refined and seamless appearance.
