Something was not right: Sushant Singh Rajput's sister reiterates foul play claim

Shweta Singh Kirti has again alleged foul play in Sushant Singh Rajput's death and raised fresh questions about the circumstances. She said she no longer seeks closure from the CBI and wants to celebrate his legacy instead.

More than six years after Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai home, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti has once again alleged that there was foul play in the actor's death. In a recent interview, Shweta said several questions surrounding the case remain unanswered and claimed that multiple psychics had also told her there was something suspicious about his death.

Shweta also said Sushant was deeply disturbed after the death of Disha Salian, who had been his manager. She further said that she no longer needs closure from the CBI and now wants to focus on celebrating Sushant’s legacy.

Speaking to Supertalks By Themovingship, Shweta said, “It’s been six years, we still do not know what really happened. What was the hurry for post-mortem? He never used to lock his room. How was his room locked from inside? There are several unanswered questions.”

She added, “Something was not right. Something was wrong.”

She also spoke about Sushant’s state of mind after Disha Salian’s death. Salian died after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Mumbai. Shweta said, “After Disha Salian’s death, he was very much disturbed. He kept saying that they will not even spare him. I do not know. Maybe he had some information he was about to come out with. Maybe something like that.” Asked if by “they” Sushant meant Bollywood, Shweta said, “We do not know that.”

Shweta said she does not now want closure from the CBI and would rather remember her brother through his work and legacy. “We do not need a closure from CBI now, we know what had happened. Whatever they are doing, maybe cover-up, we know in our hearts what happened. There was some kind of cover-up. Now what do we do? After we know that there was some foul play. What do we do? Should we keep this wound open or should we live Sushant?” she said.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. While some suspected it to be a case of death by suicide, others alleged foul play. Shweta Singh Kirti has continued to seek justice for her brother and has now once again raised questions over the circumstances surrounding his death while saying she wants to celebrate his legacy.
