Qazi Touqeer's team has confirmed that the Bigg Boss 20 contestant has been running a fever but is still inside the house after being checked by a doctor. The update came after social media posts sparked rumours that he had dengue and was quitting the show.

Qazi Tauqeer isn’t leaving Bigg Boss 20. His team has cleared the air after rumours of the singer quitting the show over health concerns began doing the rounds online.

The speculation started after a former Bigg Boss 24X7 post claimed Qazi was suffering from dengue. His team has now confirmed that he has been dealing with fever for the past few days, but remains inside the Bigg Boss house.

According to the statement, Qazi felt weak and was taken to the medical room, where a doctor examined him. He’s been resting when he can, while the team remains in touch with the show’s makers about his health.

“Recently, Qazi felt a little weak and was taken to the medical room where a doctor examined him. He is still on the show and we are in constant contact with the team regarding his health,” his team said.

Team Qazi said the singer was “dealing with fever” and was feeling “a little low on energy”. They added that even while taking it easy, he continues to participate in the show and entertain the housemates.

The team also urged fans not to panic and asked them to keep sending Qazi their “love, prayers and positive energy”. They promised to share further updates on his health and said they’re looking forward to seeing him back at full energy once he recovers. “Rest. Recover. And roar back, Rockstar! We're all with you,” the message read.

Qazi has emerged as one of the more entertaining faces of Bigg Boss 20, and the health update comes as the season continues to unfold on JioHotstar at 9 pm and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.

So far, Rhiti Tiwari, Isha Rikhi and Rohed Khan have been evicted from Bigg Boss Season 20.
