2 minor kids drown to death in pond in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district

Kamakhyanagar: In a tragic incident 2 minor kids drowned to death in a pond in Dhenkanal district of Odisha on Thursday. The sad incident took place in the Ektali village under Kamakhyanagar Police limits in the district.

The deceased kids are cousin brothers. They have been identified as Ganeshwara Behera and Subham Beera.

As per reports, the two kids had gone to the pond today to take bath on the occasion of Bada Osha today. When they were taking bath somehow their legs slipped and they were pulled into the deep water.

As the two kids did not return home for long their family members searched for them and finally got the information that the bodies were floating in the pond water. The locals then fished out the two bodies and took them to hospital. But the doctors there declared them brought dead.

A pal of gloom has descended in the area following the sad demise of the two little brothers.
