Youth jumps from water tank at Kataka SCB Medical, critical

Kataka: A youth attempted suicide by jumping from a water tank at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Kataka triggering a prolonged high-drama situation on the premises today.

As per reports, after spending a considerable time on top of the tank, the youth eventually jumped and sustained critical injuries. He was immediately admitted to the casualty ward.

The injured youth has been identified as Rajesh Parida from the Jajpur Town area. He is reportedly a person with a history of mental illness.

Rajesh sustained serious injuries to his head and chest and was sent for a CT scan. His condition is reported to be critical.
