IMD predicts shallow to moderate fog over several districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The city-based regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today predicted shallow to moderate fog over several districts of Odisha.

According to the weather department, dense fog has occurred at one or two places over the district of Sundergarh of North Interior Odisha. Shallow to Moderate Fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Koraput and Jharsuguda of Interior Odisha.

Meanwhile IMD issued the following prediction:

Day 1 (Valid upto 8.30 AM of December 16, 2025):

  • Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput and Jharsuguda.
  • Dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of December 16 to 8.30 AM of December 17):

  • Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput and Jharsuguda.
  • Dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of December 17 to 8.30 AM of December 18):

  • Dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
