The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in North and West Odisha on the 27th and 28th due to the influence of a possible westerly storm.

The weather will remain dry in the state today. Light rain is likely in one or two places in six districts tomorrow.

Similarly, light rain is likely in one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, and Sundargarh on the 29th December. No heavy rain has been predicted for any place.

On the other hand, farmers are once again worried about the unseasonal rain. Despite the low probability of heavy rains, continuous unseasonal rains have wreaked havoc on crops in coastal and interior Odisha. Farmers fear that the rains will worsen the situation further.
