J-K higher reaches likely to receive snow on Jan 16, says MeT

Srinagar, Jan 12: The Meteorological department today predicted light snowfall at isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir on January 16.

Today the weather conditions will likely remain partly cloudy, an official of MeT Srinagar said.

He said on January 13 there is possibility of mainly clear with dry weather conditions in Jammu & Kashmir.

On January 14, there will be generally cloudy with dry weather, he said.

He added, the weather conditions will likely remain cloudy with light snow at isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir during January 15 & 16.

He also added that from January 17-19, the weather will likely remain cloudy.

However the official added that there is nothing significant weather conditions in J&K till January 19.

From January 20-21 the weather conditions will likely remain cloudy with light snow at isolated places.

The official advised tourists, travelers and transporters to follow advisories from administration and traffic department.
