Sony annual profit rises 13.4%, below analyst estimates

TOKYO, May 8 : Sony on Friday reported operating profit for the year ended March rose 13.4 per cent to 1.45 trillion yen ($9.24 billion), below analyst estimates.

That compared with profit of 1.28 trillion yen a year earlier and an LSEG consensus estimate of 1.56 trillion yen.
