The United Nations proclaimed June 21 as the International Day of Yoga on December 11, 2014, after endorsing the proposal put forward by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2014. With this day gaining recognition in hundreds of countries on account of Yoga’s effectiveness in making people’s lives healthier and stress-free, it becomes imperative for all Indians to join the celebrations tomorrow at the nearest venue, as educational, social, religious, and several other institutions are holding special sessions on Sunday.
