Jammu Tawi: Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission (SVMM) Charitable Hospital in Ambphalla, Jammu, has announced the installation of two advanced diagnostic imaging machines: the Magnetom Free Star 0.55 Tesla MRI Machine and the Siemens 96-Slice CT Scan Machine. These state-of-the-art machines are expected to significantly improve the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities, providing high-quality services at affordable prices for the region.

Dr. Subash Gupta, Chief Patron of the hospital, made the announcement during a press conference attended by several key hospital members, including Amar Chand Gupta, B.B. Gupta, and Dr. Sachin Gupta. Dr. Gupta highlighted that the introduction of these machines would greatly enhance the hospital’s ability to cater to the growing healthcare needs of Jammu and its surrounding areas.

The hospital already offers a range of essential services, including Digital Radiography, a fully computerized laboratory with a Hormonal Assay Machine, ECG, Ultrasonography with Color Doppler, and cardiovascular care with Echo, TMT, and Holter Monitoring. Specialized services such as Laparoscopic Surgery, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) for venous disorders, Dialysis, and critical care through NICU and ICU are also available.

In addition to these, the hospital provides comprehensive eye care with advanced technologies like C3R, Pentacam, OCT, YAG Laser, and Phaco, along with oncology services such as Day Care Chemotherapy. Its wide range of departments includes Gynecology, Dermatology, ENT, Physiotherapy, and Dentistry, while a Free OPD Dispensary assists underprivileged patients.
