LaLiga: Mourinho speaks on benching Vinicius, Mbappe, Bellingham against Elche
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostReal Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has said he would consult data and medical staff before deciding on his team selections against Elche.
Mourinho was asked in his press conference if he would consider dropping any of Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham for the LaLiga clash.
Los Blancos are in the middle of a three-game run in nine days.
It started with Rayo Vallecano, followed by Tuesday’s trip to Elche and, finally, the derby against Atlético de Madrid on Sunday 20.

Mourinho said: “Could one of Vini-Mbappé-Bellingham be benched? If I can start them again tomorrow, I’ll start all of them again, yes.
“I have a lot of trust in how every player feels about his body and what he tells me.
“I read data, and I speak to the player and the medical staff to decide.
“And of course, if they can start, they’ll start.”
