by · tsa

HoYoverse has announced that a new round of closed beta testing for its cosy galactic life sim Petit Planet will be coming later this month. The Stardrift Test will start on 21st April with sign-ups now live on the official site.

Best known for their action RPG gacha games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Petit Planet is a change of pace for miHoYo, embracing cosy gaming and life sims, but on a galactic scale.

Petit Planet casts you as a Planet Tender, engaging in farming, fishing, cooking and more, shaping the world around you, But there’s a Starsea of planets out there that you can link together to form galaxies, venturing forth to create new connections with their people, the Neighbors. Each connection you make will grow the galaxy, building new bonds and helping planets thrive.

This closed beta beings new Neighbors to befriend, each with their own personalities, stories and dreams, shaping how you can interact with them. The Starsea Voyage has also been updated and the Galactic Bazaar expanded with new activities, where you can meet up with other players, grab a coffee, hang out by a bonfire, dance, join auctions and more.

Petit Planet is currently confirmed for iOS, Android and PC, and the test is available across all three platforms. However additional platforms are also in development.
