Medical negligence blamed as woman dies after giving birth in Belagavi

A 25-year-old lactating mother died in the Belagavi District Hospital attached to the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday.

Pooja Kundaragi from Gokak was delivered of a baby boy on Wednesday. But she suffered epileptic seizures and died on Thursday.

Her relatives have complained of medical negligence. They have also got a case registered at the APMC Yard Police Station.
