BBC Strictly Come Dancing star in 'hot water' as they're dealt blow ahead of week eight live show
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsA Strictly Come Dancing star is said to be in 'hot water' as they're dealt a blow ahead of their next performance. The competition's nine remaining couples will return to the ballroom this weekend where they'll dance again for their place in the BBC One dance show.
After two weekends of themes - Halloween and Icons - it'll be back to normal for the celebrities and their dance partners with no elaborate costumes to hide behind. The songs and dances have already been revealed ahead of Saturday night's (November 9) show. JB Gill and new dance partner Lauren Oakley will be performing a Samba to Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes while Pete and Jowita will aim to bounce back with a couple's choice routine to The Best by Nicotine Dolls.
Another couple's choice will be performed by Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell to John Lennon’s Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) while Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe, who survived Sunday’s (November 3) dance-off, will return with a Paso Doble to The Shapeshifter's Lola’s Theme.

Meanwhile, Jamie Borthwick & Michelle Tsiakkas will perform the Argentine Tango to ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ by Arctic Monkeys, Shayne Ward & Nancy Xu will dance the Rumba to Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time abd Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec will perform a Quickstep to Fantasy by Mariah Carey.
And also, Wynne Evans and Katya Jones will dance to MIKA’s Grace Kelly whilst Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola will perform to Proud by Heather Small. And it is Shayne who has been dealt the biggest blow ahead of his next performance. The singer and actor is William Hill’s outright favourite to be the next contestant eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday.

Former Coronation Street star Shayne is odds-on at 10/11 to exit the show this weekend, with Wynne Evans the closest in the market at 9/4. The remaining contestants are far longer odds to exit the show, with JB Gill a 6/1 shot and Pete Wicks at 8/1.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “The nine-strong Strictly field will be cut down to eight following this weekend’s show, and Shayne Ward looks in danger of performing his last dance in the competition.
"The English singer is our odds-on favourite at 10/11 to be the next contestant eliminated from the show following a second appearance in the dance-off last weekend. Should Ward dance himself out of hot water, Wynne Evans is next in the firing line at 9/4, with both JB Gill (6/1) and Pete Wicks (8/1) looking safe enough chances to secure their place in next weekend’s show."
