A woman who suspected her boyfriend was cheating set him the ultimate trap to catch him red-handed - and was left stunned at his response when he was found guilty
by Niamh Kirk · The MirrorA woman who suspected her partner was cheating on her went to extreme lengths to catch him out - and was absolutely left stunned at his guilty response.
Cynthia Loya decided to test her partners loyalty, but was left devastated when she found out the truth. The cunning girlfriend decided to use a fake number to text her boyfriend, pretending to be a different woman, and was shocked at his infidelity. Little did he realise, his 'mistress' was actually his girlfriend who was heartbroken. It came after she found messages from another woman, so decided to set him a trap to catch him in the act.
Cynthia, from Texas, revealed her partner had previously cheated on her but she explained she had given him another chance and taken him back. However, she decided she was going to test his loyalty as she was still struggling with trust issues. Cynthia explained: "I downloaded a fake texting app, made a fake number and texted my boyfriend. When I found the messages with the other girl I was studying how she put her emojis, so I knew how to text like her." The 28-year-old then pretended to be the other woman, and her boyfriend told the fake number that they needed to keep their relationship a secret from his girlfriend.
Little did he know he was texting this to his girlfriend the whole time. She then decided to truly put him to the test and see who he truly valued more. So while she was on the phone to her boyfriend, she started messaging him as the other woman, and asked him to meet up - and claimed he agreed "instantly". She explained: "I was texting him pretending to be the other girl while we were on the phone. So, I texted him to see if he wanted to hang out, and he said he was down. He started trying to get off the phone with me, he told me he had to go help his brother."
She then got in her car and confronted him, but supposedly tried to put all the blame on her. He claimed he had known it was her he was texting the whole time and that he just wanted to see how crazy she could really be. The girlfriend said: "I get in my car and pull up to his house, not quietly at all I was revving my gas. He was like I knew it was you this whole time, I know you're crazy I just wanted to see if you were going to come."
After arguing for over an hour she agreed to take him back, only to get her heart broken a week later when she finds out he had been texting his mistress again. "I got my stuff and I left his house, I can't believe I allowed myself to go back and forth that many times," she admitted.
