Strictly star Tasha Ghouri's cheating heartbreak as she brushes off 'curse' worries

Love Island's Tasha Ghouri has brushed off the infamous Strictly 'curse' despite her boyfriend Andrew Le Page previously finding himself embroiled in an explosive cheating scandal on TV

Tasha Ghouri's dance moves have been a lot smoother than her love life.

The reality TV star, 26, has topped the Strictly leader board for two weeks running, after receiving an impressive 34 points for her Rumba to Barbie's iconic What Was I Made For. Partnered up with pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec, the pair have been an unstoppable force and strong contesters for the famed Glitterball Trophy.

After hitting back at 'fix' claims due to her previous dancing experience, Tasha is hoping for a panel of 10s after perfecting her Charleston to Unhealthy by Anne-Marie and Shania Twain. Ladies and gentlemen... It's officially Icons Week.

Rising to fame for becoming to first-ever deaf contestant to appear on Love Island, Tasha met her partner Andrew Le Page on the show - and they have been together ever since. Despite describing him as her 'future husband', avid viewers of the show might remember the huge cheating scandal that came out after Andrew got up close and personal with influencer Coco Lodge.

While Tasha was away from Casa Amor, Andrew confessed to 'licking' Coco's 't**s'. "There was a lot of touching, sucking, a lot of things were said," Coco told Islanders at the time. "He said he wanted to f**k me... after sucking my t**s and saying he wanted to ruin me... sexual talk."

After finding out about the infidelity, Tasha declared she was 'done' with the relationship and that Andrew had 'f****d it' - proceeding to peruse a rival hunk before forgiving Andrew and taking him back. The couple now live together and co-parent their pet dog after putting the scandal behind them.

With gruelling rehearsals and training taking over her life, it wasn't long before Tasha was asked if she was concerned about the 'Strictly curse' - a fan-theory that performing on stage every week somehow sparks a lustful environment that encourages participants to become unfaithful. But being apart from her beau doesn't seem to be a worry for Tasha at all.

"It doesn't bother us at all. We didn't have a discussion about 'the Strictly curse' because we trust each other," she said. "It's not a make-or-break for us. We're going to breeze through this because we're going to marry each other one day, you know." Andrew even pointed out that he'd attended rehearsals with the duo and received a dancing lesson from Aljaz.

Strictly Come Dancing airs every Saturday on BBC One.
