The family of a nine-year-old girl allegedly murdered by a teenage boy in Weston-super-Mare have shared new images of her.

Tragic Aria Thorpe died at the popular seaside resort on Monday. A post-mortem examination found the preliminary cause of Aria's death was a single stab wound, Avon and Somerset Police said. The youngster has been described as the “funniest little girl” by her devastated family.

A 15-year-old boy appeared in court charged with murdering the schoolgirl.
