Gogglebox star Stephen Webb and his estranged husband, Daniel Lustig-webb, shared the sad news that one of their dogs had passed away - sharing a charming tribute to her online

Gogglebox star Stephen Webb and his estranged husband, Daniel Lustig-webb, have been left devastated over the death of their beloved dog.

The couple - who were married in 2018 and announced their shock split earlier this year - are the loving owners of a number fluffy dogs. While the boys are no longer a couple, and as they wait for their divorce to be finalised, they have kept their pets close and been praised for continuing to care for them together.

On Sunday, the pair shared a heartbreaking update to reveal that one of their dogs had died. Taking to Instagram, the Gogglebox stars co-published a tribute to their pet, but did not reveal a cause of death. They shared a windswept snap of the dog wearing a bright orange collar.

In an accompanying caption, they wrote: "Today we said goodbye to the kindest little girl, our princess RIP @lustig75." The statement was met with a wall of support from fans. One wrote: "Sending you the biggest love the paw print they leave on our hearts stay forever." Another typed: "I'm sorry for your loss." And a further follower wrote: "Run free sweetheart."

Daniel and Stephen shocked their fans in April this year as they announced their plan to divorce after six years of marriage. Daniel shared the bombshell news in an interview with The Sun on Sunday at the time - saying: "It's with much sadness Daniel and I have decided to divorce. There is, and always will be, a lot of love there but we've unfortunately grown apart and made the decision to part ways."

He added: "We've made the decision with a very heavy heart to confirm our marriage has come to an end. I'm sure we will forever be friends." While the news was a shock to fans, the couple were later praised for continuing to care for their pets together.

Sharing photos of Daniel walking their dogs on Instagram weeks after the shocking divorce news, Stephen wrote: "Co parenting and shopping with the poodles [heart emoji] @lustig75." Fans were loving their platonic relationship and rushed to the comment section to compliment them, with one writing: "You guys [heart emoji] - you could teach many divorced couples a thing or two."

Another fan posted: "Love that you are both still good friends. Some people need to take a leaf out of your book xx Have the best day." One fan added: "I love this, me and my ex-husband are best friends, we speak every day! Good luck to both of you."

And a further impressed fan wrote: "Inspirational breakup behaviour. So many could learn from you guys."

Stephen and Daniel appeared on Gogglebox together from 2018 2023 - sensationally quitting the show that year. Stephen previously starred on the show with his then-boyfriend Christopher Steed and they featured on the show from 2013 until 2017.
