I'm A Celeb's Dean McCullough faces devastating blow just minutes into show

Radio 1 star Dean McCullough found himself in the firing line just minutes into the show as fans believe he'll be picked to do the most Bushtucker Trials of the camp

Dean McCullough had a catastrophic start to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - with fans predicting he will be singled out for multiple trials.

The cheeky 32-year-old radio host was off to a terrible start as he arrived at the same time as Dancing On Ice's Oti Mabuse, McFly's Danny Jones, N-Dbuz's Tulisa Contostavlos and Loose Women star Jane Moore. The fivesome were thrown immediately into a challenge as they had to drink a revolting cocktail made of blended bull’s penis and fish eye, with a vomit fruit garnish.

The five stars had to down the drink as fast as possible to determine the order in which they could then run into a helicopter to fly to the other stars of the series where the next step in the challenge would begin. But Dean struggled to drink the cocktail and gagged his way through the challenge - coming second from the bottom with only Oti taking longer to down the disgusting drink.

He then had to race behind the other stars who were already en-route to meet WAG Coleen Rooney, ex-boxer Barry McGuigan, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, Tik Tok sensation GK Barry and radio host Melvin Odoom. The original five had to parachute down to an island where the other five were waiting.

They then partnered into teams of two and had to paddle their way to the I'm A Celeb camp via kayaks. But the boats were sabotaged so they would fill with water - and Dean ended up sinking completely after he arrived to pair up with Coleen.

Viewers were left in hysterics watching Dean struggling through the first task of the season - and to hear him complain that the disgusting cocktail would set off his irritable bowel syndrome. Many felt that his start will lead to Dean being nominated for upcoming trials. One predicted on X: "We all know who's getting nominated for all the trials don't we... *DEAN* #imaceleb #imacelebrity." And another wrote: "Dean isn’t helping himself here #ImACeleb #imacelebrity."

Another typed: "That’s 3 weeks of Dean doing trials then #imacelebrity #ImACeleb." And a further viewer predicted: "Dean getting picked by the public for every challenge #imacelebrity" alongside an image of a ferret being enthusiastically being picked up by a pet handler. Dean has been hailed as an early favourite by some, with one writing: "My faves so far are Dean definitely coleen and Barry #ImACeleb #imacelebrity."

Earlier on Sunday, reports emerged that Dean is expected to be the first star to be voted off the show. Experts at Heart Bingo used a supercomputer to crunch information about each of the contestants, and the results predicted Coleen will win. Christopher Wilkie, Digital Marketing Manager for Heart Bingo, said: “According to our AI analysis, Rooney's blend of fame, resilience, and strong media appeal positions her as the top contender to win this year’s series."

He added: “The supercomputer certainly didn’t take a liking to Dean McCullough’s profile though, as he is predicted to be the first to leave the jungle, closely followed by the two Barry’s, McGuigan and GK!”
