Where to find Calcium Ore in StarRupture

You won't have to go far.

StarRutpure is about more than just building bases and resource management; it is about being a good worker who sends their corporate overlords the things they need. In the early game, you may be asked to send some Calcium Ore back through the Orbital Cargo Launcher. This is where to find it.

Where to find Calcium Ore in StarRupture

To find Calcium Ore at the start of the game, make your way across the starting area, north of the lander. You might not have a map yet, so just walk from the short ravine that leads from the lander to the plain, then keep heading past the small water area where you should harvest the water plants, and keep going.

In the distance, you will see a white building. You don't need to go that far, as you will find some brown, almost muddy-looking shelves on land on the right side. Those shelves indicate Calcium Ore deposits. You will likely be out of the range of the base infrastructure you set up during the tutorial, so you will need to set up more to get this Calcium Ore.

First, you will need a Base Core to be able to build any other structures, then your ore excavator, an Orbital Cargo Launcher connected to the excavator via railings, and then your power, likely to be two Solar Generators at the earlier stages of the game. Once all that is set up, you can start sending the Calcium Ore home. Make sure you leave some room to build more, as you will likely need to start processing the resource soon.
