by COLlive Editor · COLliveDear Fellow Anash and Shluchim,
I am reaching out to you regarding a devoted Shliach and father of six who is currently battling a severe illness. This individual has been a central figure in his community, dedicating his life to giving shiurim, organizing activities, and offering a listening ear to all. However, he is now facing a critical health challenge.
Five years ago, he was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, and despite undergoing numerous surgeries and treatments, his condition has continued to worsen. The illness has now affected his bones and internal organs, causing severe pain and significant limitations. He is in need of expensive medications, some of which are not covered by insurance, and his family is facing enormous financial strain as a result.
Until recently, he was able to support his family through his work as a Sofer and would generously assist other Shluchim in need. Unfortunately, due to his declining health, he has had to cease all work, leaving the family without a source of income.
Now, with an upcoming wedding for his daughter and three other children at home, the family is struggling with overwhelming expenses, including medical costs and the daily needs of the household. The immediate family is doing everything they can, but they urgently need external support to get through this challenging time.
I strongly urge you to contribute as generously as possible. Your support will help ease the burden on this Shliach and his family, allowing them to continue facing their difficulties with strength and resilience.
May this Mitzvah be the one that will bring about the Geulah NOW!
