Yanky Levinson, who grew up in Crown Heights and was well known and loved by many, passed away after a very long, painful and difficult illness, this morning.

Despite all that he endured, Yanky was always positive and was known for his warm nature, his Ahavas Yisroel, his love of helping others, and his generosity in giving tzedakah.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rabbi Hillel Levinson and Mrs. Esther Malka Levinson.
He is survived by his siblings, Sorah Chava Weinstock (Israel) Yehuda Dovid Levinson, Mashi Greenberg, Chaim Eli Levinson (Kharkov, Ukraine), Moshe Menachem Levinson, Brocha Leah Greenberg (Buffalo, NY) and Devorah Rochel Shapiro, and many nephews and nieces.
The levayah will take place on Monday, passing by 770 Eastern Parkway at 2:45 PM, followed by kevurah at the Beis Hachayim at 4:00 PM.
