Wondering Why Justin Baldoni Was in the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Audience Last Night?
· CosmopolitanIt’s not uncommon for random celebrities to pop up in the Dancing With the Stars audience, but fans were surprised to see Justin Baldoni and his family during this week’s “Super Bowl Night.”
Cameras flashed to Justin after Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas performed the first dance of the evening—a tango to “Only Girl (In The World)” by Rihanna—marking the actor/director’s first major public appearance since he and Blake Lively settled their It Ends With Us lawsuit.
So, why did Justin show up in the Dancing With the Stars audience, of all places? Apparently, he and the show’s co-host, Julianne Hough, go way back, and Justin was there to support her.
“Justin’s wife Emily and their two kids will be with him,” a source told Page Six ahead of Justin’s appearance on the show. “They’ll be special guests of Julianne Hough who is a longtime family friend.”
FYI, Julianne and Justin worked together on the docuseries, My Last Days, in 2016, which Justin directed.
