Man charged in Waterford death investigation

A man in his 30s has been charged in relation to the investigation into the death of 81-year-old Noreen Daly, whose body was found at her home in Co Waterford, on Monday.

He is due to appear before Carrick-on-Suir District Court later this morning.

Ms Daly's body was found at the house in a rural area at Ardsallagh near Youghal Bridge.

She is understood to have lived alone in the house following her husband's death in 2023, and has been remembered as a kind person and a good neighbour who was heavily involved in the arts.
