Man due in court after death of woman in Antrim last year

A man has been charged with a number of domestic abuse-related charges following the death of a woman in Newtownabbey in October last year.

The woman's body was found at her home in the Old Mill Drive area of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including non-fatal strangulation, domestic abuse and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The man is also to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for a manslaughter offence.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court.
