A food expert says theer are certain ingredients you should add to your diet,. claiming they can make you look 10-years younger. Founder of The Gift of Oil, Phil Bianchi, says there are five anti-ageing foods that you can include in your diet, starting with extra-vurgin olive oil.

Phil said: "Known for its health benefits, such as reducing bad cholesterol, stroke and high blood pressure, Extra Virgin Olive Oil also has plenty of anti-aging benefits too. In fact, the monounsaturated fats in olive oil have been shown to help reduce the skin ageing, as it has strong inflammatory effects."

Phil also recommends you start drinking green tea, and eating dark chocolate, pomegranates and watermelon.

He said: "Green tea has lots of benefits, and is one of the most popular drinks for anti-aging. It contains lots of Vitamin B2, which helps to tighten the appearance of the skin. As well as Vitamin B2, it also contains lots of antioxidants that are a preventative for any fine lines or wrinkles.

"Known to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, Dark chocolate also helps in reducing inflammation, improving blood flow to the skin and helps to retain moisture for longer. The flavanols from dark chocolate can also help to protect the skin from sun damage too - reducing this risk of sun-induced wrinkles.

"Full of lots of healthy nutrients, pomegranates have a whole variety of health benefits for the body and the skin. It’s been found that pomegranates can in fact help to reduce any sun damage and brown spots on the skin. The antioxidants in the fruit also help to protect the skin's collagen - making it one of the top fruits for anti-ageing!

"Watermelon is not only extremely hydrating, which is good for the skin, but it also contains lots of vitamins, including Vitamin A, B and C. The combination of these helps to brighten the skin, boost skin health and help towards a youthful and soft appearance."
