Ozzy's family confirmed his death in a statement to Us Weekly in July.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the statement read. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
Weeks later, it was revealed that the Black Sabbath legend had died from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease. (Ozzy announced his Parkinson's diagnosis in February 2019.)
Sharon, 73, recalled her final conversation with her husband before his death during a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
"He told me that he was having dreams the last week of his life. He was seeing people that he never knew," she said during the December 10 episode. "I said, ‘Well, what kind of people?' He goes, ‘All different people. I just keep walking and walking, and I'm seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there and I'm looking at these people, and they're looking at me, and nobody's talking.' And he knew. He was ready."
Sharon also said that "the night before" Ozzy's death, he asked her to kiss him and hug him tight. She discovered the next morning that he had died.
"[I heard] screaming in the house, and I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I'm like, ‘Don't, leave him. He's gone,'" she explained. "I knew instantly he's gone. And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it's, like, ‘He's gone. Just leave him.'"
