ICYM, YCS, Catholic Sabha Basrur units hold cleanliness drive at Kundapur railway station

Kundapur, Oct 2: To mark Gandhi Jayanti, members of ICYM and YCS Basrur, in collaboration with Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh (R), Basrur unit, and the Environment Commission, organized a ‘Swachha Hagu Nirmala Parisara Abhiyana’ (clean and pure environment campaign) at the Kundapur railway station.

The campaign aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility and civic awareness among the public. Volunteers actively participated in cleaning the railway station premises and surrounding areas, emphasising the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic public spaces.

The initiative was held as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of cleanliness and his emphasis on individual and community responsibility in maintaining a healthy environment.

Members of ICYM, YCS, Catholic Sabha and the Environment Commission participated in the campaign and encouraged the public to contribute towards keeping their surroundings clean and environmentally friendly.
