Kildare's main hospital is the most overcrowded in the region

17 people on trolleys today

Naas Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in the eastern region today.

Some 17 patients were treated on trolleys there today, compared with to two at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, and three at Beaumont Hospital.

There were five patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospitla and none at Tullamore Hospital.
