What is Shukrayaan-1?

The Shukrayaan-1 mission will deploy a sophisticated spacecraft to orbit Venus, focusing on a detailed exploration of the planet’s dense atmosphere and volcanic surface. Venus, often referred to as Earth's "twin" due to its similar size and mass, has an extremely hostile environment, making it a compelling subject of study for planetary scientists.
