Three rushed to hospital with serious injuries after two-car crash in Kidderminster

Three people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash. The two-car pile-up happened at the junction of Stourport Road and Walter Nash Road in Kidderminster just before 9.50pm on Monday, November 18.

Paramedics found four patients at the scene, three women and one man. A woman, who was a front seat passenger, suffered serious injuries.

She was taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital under blue light conditions. Two other patients, a man and a woman, one of the drivers and a back seat passenger, were also seriously injured.

They were treated at the scene and taken to Worcester Royal Hospital. The fourth patient, a woman, was discharged at the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: "Two women and a man have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-car collision in Kidderminster, Worcester, last night. We were called to the junction of Stourport Road and Walter Nash Road in Kidderminster at 9.49pm and sent three ambulances, three paramedic officers and an emergency doctor to the scene.

"On arrival crews found four patients; three women and one man. The first patient, a woman, who was the front seat passenger sustained serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance staff to Queen Elizabeth Hospital under blue light conditions.

“Two further patients, a man and a woman, who were the driver and the rear seat passenger, sustained serious injuries and were treated at the scene before being conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital. The fourth patient, a woman, was assessed at the scene, before being discharged by ambulance staff.”
