Jack Keating’s ex and the mother of his child has reacted to him signing up for Love Island All Stars.

The 26-year-old, who is the son of Boyzone’s Ronan Keating and model Yvonne Connolly, shares a daughter named Maya with his former flame Keely Iqbal.

While Jack and Keely had a contentious relationship in the past, it appears they are now on better terms as she sent him a message of support after he was confirmed for the show’s upcoming season.

Resharing his official cast photo, Keely wrote: “Good luck to daddy on his next adventure, love Maya x.”

Jack first appeared on Love Island in 2022 as a Casa Amor bombshell.

Months later, he shocked fans when he announced the birth of his first child, a daughter named Maya, leading fans to speculate that he took part in the series despite knowing he was going to be a dad.

However, the Islander later insisted he had no idea Keely was expecting before his stint on the show.

Jack previously told MailOnline: “As soon as I came off Love Island, seven months later, I became a dad. No, I didn’t know before going on the show.”

“Adjusting to life after Love Island was hard enough but then I had to deal with being a father… But it has been the most amazing year and a half of my entire life. She melts my heart every time I see her.”

“I remember when I posted the Instagram photo, I was so nervous. I didn’t actually want to press the button. It blew up.”

He continued: “It was an amazing and happy time… but I kept asking myself, am I ready? Am I ready for what comes with this? I was terrified.”

“There was a bombardment of messages and congratulations. I needed a personal assistant to get through all the messages for a week or two.”

Jack credited his paternal instincts to dad Ronan and mum Yvonne Connolly, as he confessed they are the “heroes” in his life.

He said: “I leant on my family and friends… I have a really big support system around me.”

“My mum and my dad are the two heroes of my life and they’re the people I love the most.”

“All the knowledge and advice he has passed down to me has been great, I wouldn’t be here today without him. I’m a family first man, I come as a package deal, and I plan to stay that way,” he added.
