Prince William takes a spin on a motorbike but has one regret
by Jessica Storoschuk · Royal CentralThe Prince of Wales was all excitement on during a university visit in Northern Ireland.
Prince William was at Ulster University where he happily hopped on a motorbike.
Although the Princess of Wales has made it known that she is not a fan of William’s love of motorcycles, she will be happy to know that it was a stationary bike despite his suggestion that “someone needs to take this for a real spin”.
The Prince of Wales was able to visit the university’s virtual production department and chat with students about their experience and current work. He was impressed with their work, sharing that his virtual motorbike ride was “incredibly realistic”.
His Royal Highness was also able to check in on another project that is close to his heart, Homewards, while in Belfast.
Prince William met with Homewards UK staff who are working with the Simon Community Initiative to tackle homelessness in Belfast. Simon Community is the oldest and largest organisation in the city that helps support those experiencing homelessness.
While there, The Prince of Wales was able to meet with those who are receiving support from Homewards.
Belfast is one of six cities that Homewards is working in. Different community groups and organisations are chosen in each city to target specific issues.
